Spork

A spork is a hybrid between a spoon and a fork doing neither job very well, but both jobs adequately. The obvious benefit of the spork is that you need only one piece of cutlery which is often preferable in an environment that requires flexibility and disposability of the tool in question. The spork cannot be claimed to be a recent invention since it already existed in medieval times.
