A Snickers bar is a candy bar consisting out of chocolate, caramel, lots of sugar and peanuts. It is meant to fight real hunger, but seems to have made no discernible progress in it's self-appointed remit of ending global famine.

Snickers Trivia

  • Snickers used to be called Marathon in the UK. But then the Americans, , came along and spoiled it (as usual -  again). Marathon was universally regarded as a brilliant name by British children and we'd all get up an hour earlier on Fridays just so we could scoff a 3-pack of Marathons in preparation for our weekly trip to the dentists. However, by contrast, no-one has the foggiest idea what "Snickers" means and, consequently, no British child has eaten one since.
