Missile

A Missile is a self propelled (see footnote) airborne projectile commonly used to deliver explosives as a long range weapon.

Footnote: or not. A stone thrown by a person is also a missile.

Trivia

In late 2003 Kiwi Bruce Simpson made a cruise missile in his garage for approximately NZ$5000. The airforce denied his request for a test flight and his project was later shut down illegally by the government under US pressure.
