Chicken is slang for American.

Fried chicken giblets are all the rage in McDonalds. They are called "Chicken McNuggets". History doesn't record why they chose to call them Chicken McNuggets when "fried chicken giblets" sounds much more tempting.

When one doesn't know what something tastes like, generally one implies or explicitly opines that it "tastes like chicken". So success, prosperity and happiness taste like chicken. Boiled baby guts do not however.


Giant chicken

Scientists in East Korea managed to make a breed of giant chickens by extracting dinosaur DNA from dinosaur fossil bones and inserting it into chickens. One giant chicken is large enough to provide the daily chicken needs of Luxembourg [1].
