Incendiary is used to denote topics which, when raised on internet discussion forums are guaranteed to end in a massive flamewar. Very rarely are the topics in this category introduced with serious debate or enlightenment of the forum populace in mind. Instead they can be thought of as fire-bombs which, once released, will quickly engulf the entire forum in a conflagration that will make the burning cities of Nazi Germany seem like a small camp-fire.
