Some nerd stuff that doesn't make sense

used to add two binary numbers. there are two types.

these are used on the least significant bit. they accept two numbers and output the sum and carry (if any)

these are used on all other bits except the least significant. they accept the two bits being added and the carry from the previous stage. they output the sum and carry (if any)
