acronym for american standard code for information interchange. it represents the letters, numbers, and special characters that are used in computers.

example: the lowercase "a" is represented by 65. to convert this into digital format you take the digital rep. of 6 (0110) and the digital rep. of 5 (0101) and concatenate them and get 01100101.

the lowercase letters are represented as 65 through 90.

the spacebar as 32 and the enter key as 13.


Also used as apart of a subculture of replacing words with Geek meanings (currently 1 known user)
example:
"I can't be ASCII'd with this debate!"
"I'll kick your ASCII!"
"Are all your ASCII belongs to mine."
