9/11 refers to the attacks at New York, Washington D.C., and Shanksville, where 4 highjacked airliners allegedly crashed into buildings and the ground. These events signal the start of the current war on terrorism, a rhetoric construction that indicates a shift in policy in the US government towards polarization between the US and 'evil' terrorists.

The great 9/11 myth

Many question the official story and some criticisms have been made by notable authorities on the subject such as physicist Steven E. Jones, Site Manager for Environmental Health Laboratories Kevin Ryan and authors David Ray Griffin and Jim Marrs.

Steven E. Jones, in his article "Why Indeed Did the World Trade Center Buildings Completely Collapse?", makes a clear case that the WTC buildings were brought down by controlled demolitions using thermate or nano thermite, not by office fires, as the final report by the National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST) claims.

Kevin Ryan asks us to look at the connections between NIST and nano thermites in his article "The Top Ten Connections Between NIST and Nano-Thermites"

David Ray Griffin has written several books on the events of 9/11, amoung them "The New Pearl Harbor: Disturbing Questions About the Bush Administration and 9/11".

Jim Mars has written several books on the events of 9/11 as well, amoung them "Inside Job: Unmasking the 9/11 Conspiracies" and "The Terror Conspiracy".
