Tilde

A tilde (~) is a type of text character used for a variety of things.

Domesticated Om frequently uses the tilde to signify rough equivalence. This is because he either tends to throw around imprecise approximations, or rounds towards whole numbers.
He'd love to use the double-tilde (≈) instead, but there is no key for it on his stupid keyboard.
