Porcelain is a ceramic material, first made in China. It consists of quartz, orthoclase feldspar, and kaolinite clay. The mixture is fired to a very high temperature in excess of 1200 degrees Celsius, which is a bright white hot.

The flexural strength of the material is usually tabulated as 30-60 MPa under normal firing, and upwards of 80-120 MPa under vacuum-fired conditions.

Porcelain is also a song by Moby (the guy who dissed by Eminem).
