Computers

BIOS stands for Basic Input Output System. It is a collection of software utilities included with the motherboard of most computers, and used to boot the system as well as perform a number of hardware related tasks.

Other

Bios are short pieces of text which give a brief curriculum vitae of a person, often an author. Often found on the inside margins of book covers. Short for "biographies". of course the "software" is actually firmware.

Bios is also when you are being rascist, ect. (I think you may mean "biased".)

Oh aye. Sorry.
