I was just thinking, how do you guys feel about drugs being used for learning. I have heard (never tried it) that some combination of uppers and downers can make people (college students mostly) think and focus better.

do you think it should be allowed? if some company comes out with some drug that will make people better students, should it be allowed?

for the sake of argument, lets say that there are no adverse (side) effects of the drug.

    what do you think?

(and don't say, "there already is one, coffee" because coffee just helps people stay awake)

    N O. NO .NO...but i dont believe in prohibiton.
the war on drugs is an outrge. a war against peole. yet on other hand tey concoct phony diseases like 'ADHD' etc and push 'speed' on children, and including really young kids. and these drugs are toxic and harm children. its a massive fukin scam. an abuse of millions of kids

now the fkers is talkin bout patenting pills to 'help LEARN'...? learn what? the indoctrinational dumbin down tey are doing in their institutions?

whys it that poples natrual capacity for REAl larning is not understood? they assume all the time pople are mere biochemical machines needed to be exploited by teir evil stinking corrupt profit motives.

trust you natrual learning capabilites. their pills will only poison you. be>LEIVE it!

ever tried extract of ginko biloba? it stimulates blood vessels, thus you think better. But, by no means find a ginko tree and extract its juices, i mean buy an already prepared extract of ginko biloba juice. I tried it and it works.

Actually, yes, I've heard about it several times. Never used it though.

we are assuming that there are no long term effects, or short term side effect, so what is the problem? the reason I brought this up was because I had to write a paper last night, and I always find it difficult to focus, and think clearly when pulling all-nighters.

I don't know what kind of schooling you have had, but I can guarantee that engineering is not indoctrination. engineering does not teach you a world view, it teaches you how to design a digital circuit, or understand how to build safer bridges. what is wrong with learning that stuff?

if someone chooses to take a pill that makes them focus better for a few hours, and has no other effect, what is so wrong with that?

this is a hypothetical, I am not talking about the real things people take, I am just wondering what you guys would think if there were really a drug you could take that had no effect other than to make you focus really well for about 10 hours.

nobody thinks it could be a positive?

I managed to study for winter finals with a terrible flu and no drugs.

You get from that meditation practice and self-discipline. No money wasted on drugs.
