I haven't used my account for ages. Deviantart is too full of crap for my taste, and almost seems like a popularity contest some times :l

I initially joined in order to have people comment my work, but it's a pretty bad place for that, really.

that and the site is horribly slow...for me atleast.

I consistently steal work from there and pass it off as my own.

there are lots of legitimate artists on there, and I like using stock photos for my own studies.

And yes, there is an awful lot of crap - but plenty of buried treasure too. Which is why I'm reviving this prematurely-ended thread. Treasure-hunters, I want you to start digging and bring me your finds.

Second pic for FWA's conbook. After recently aquiring a ferret myself, I really wanted to draw the fuzzy little things. So I used them as the subject here. A sable and cinnamon one.

Sketched by hand, inked and colored in Photoshop. Went for a more realistic fur look.. lots and lots of lines. o_o
