darkie's Videocard Review

Greetings fellow members, members of the brotherhood. I welcome you all..

Unfortunately I ignored the reviews and opted for my own interests (mostly financial). This card turned out to be just as bad as everyone had said...

I bought it awhile ago, mentioning this purchase on the forum. After a few weeks the card began to make a noise as though the fan were hitting against something. I was very annoyed :L I opened my PC yesterday to inspect the card, there I saw the molex connector for the fan was damaged. I was pissed... this was in addition to the fan's weird noise... so I jurry-rigged the fan and all was well, the problem is the fans just to damn loud, I mean we're talking about 10 fans in 1! The reviews are right, the videocard has problems with the fan... upon my attempts to remove the fan (possibly to replace it) I found I scratched the board. Guess what?! Rebate of 25 bucks? New fan 20 bucks? I said screw it and threw the thing in the garbage... warrenty or not when the fan makes this much noise you'll likely be sent to the looney bin within a year.

I opted for 2 day UPS, rush processing... total 93 bucks about...

I'll take this over the eVGA any day, I cannot possibly take more loud noise from an onboard fan.. nVidia sucks with Oblivion too, who knows how that card would've operated with it :L

All in all I hope to get this by Friday, then I can play all weekend an watch Rourni Kenshin.... I feel terrible wasting money on that eVGA crap, it's sad. What I do know is this... I will have a computer to play Oblivion!!! I wanna play it so bad!

PS You won't believe this, a girl I've seen around was outside smoking. I'm pretty sure she has a man, but still... I talked to her, she was friendlier than most I've met, she an I actually held a conversation, she yapped about money etc.. then told me about herself a little. The most contact I've had in awhile with a lady :shrug: I know she has a man, she drives away with him all the time, oh well..

She was very nice and cordial, that's very calming and good

I forgot to mention something about that female I talked to... she made a joke about how cigerrattes cost more than victoria secret linguire, she was like "yea I'm trying to quit, I mean for 7 bucks a pack in the city, well victoria secret has stuff I could get."

I was somewhat interested in this comment since I'd been undressing her with my eyes, lol Weird cuz I know she's got a male :C~

Also this female introduced herself to me, she said "what's your name by the way?" I said "Sam" she said "nice to meet you" and I was like "thanks" and she was like "My names Carolyn" and I was like "oh cool". She seems a nice female :C~

Regarding the nVidia GeForce 7600 GS from eVGA

Anyways I saw Carolyn again. This time the female was not as responsive, she was with co-worker leaving for lunch, I waited for said female to come out.. she steps out, I talkin to her co-worker pretending no real big deal, she says "hey Sam" and I was like hey... so the females leave together but the Carolyn one is on her cell phone playing with it :shrug: Not sure what it means, I seek this female for mating purposes now. I see no ring but am nearly certain she has male that owns her.

Let's put it like this, this is suppose to be the comp sci section, however I'm willing to let it slide because it's you (unless of course someone opens yet another sciforums open gov post about either yourself or myself, which is always good for a chuckle)

One the subject of your graphics card:
It sucks the first one didn't do what you wanted it to do, if you looked at it though you'd probably find out that the card had the fan's polarity rigged the wrong way round. However it's impossible to give a diagnostics since well you had access to it, we didn't.

I hope the new card will live up to expectations however if you find it makes noise, please please please don't tamper with it or try to fix it yourself as you just might make it worse. (I know this, I did exactly that with an XBOX 360, now I've got the internals for an XBOX 360 which just needs a replacement chassis and DVD-Drive)

On the subject of the Girl:
Don't stalk her, otherwise you'll just scare her off. On the other hand if you speak/see here once in a month, don't feel you are stalking her and leave it months to talk to her.

Don't be too needy. This I know you will find difficult considering the number of posts identifying what you need on this forum alone. (Let alone any others you frequent) I think most females that are turned off by needy people are concerned about the overall psychology of the individual as some needy people if given a 'bone' become psychopathic control freaks that get jealous about any activities that doesn't involve them and the person they obsess about. (This covers the "Can't speak to another man", "Can't hang out with their friends" and "Can't have their own personal space")

Those sorts of guys are usually "Me, me, me" and forget whats really important to the person they like to obsess about being "important to themselves".

You also have to identify if you want a relationship with her, or just want to act like an energizer bunny and kick her to the curb. If you are just interested in the latter, then:

What this means is that any forms of relationship should be built over time. You should aspire to gain her friendship (Be open about yourself, but not too open that you come across like a sex crazed maniac that wants to ravage her or some freaky perverse guy that wants to snort her underwear and parade around in it without her consent. Yes means "yes", No means "Stay out of my linen basket!")

See if she'd like to go out somewhere with you, Make it a public date and even invite her friends along too. That way she doesn't have to fear you. In fact you could put forwards a choice of places and let her decide.

Eventually over time you can get away with perhaps not asking her friends along, but by that time hopefully their your friends too.


If she does allow romance to blossom with you, since after this vixen will obviously own your heart since we know you all too well darksidZz do not Fux0r it up. (This means no cheating, no perverse or irrational behaviour [this means over drinking, drugs or sexual related conduct] and you have to be honest with one another about your feelings.)

In fact darksidZz, do me a big favour. PRINT this post out and show her it, you are either going to save yourself heartache or find the girl of your dreams .

To the Lady in question:
This post is on www.sciforums.com and Darkside, the probably nervious guy standing infront/to the side/behind something to hide behind is a nice but very misunderstood guy.

Before we get too indepth with what this printout is about, if you are involved with someone (Dating, Engaged or married) tell him because it's best for him to know rather than have delusions of paradise with dreams of a perfect future with you. It will save him alot of concerns and us poor soles that really do try to aid him with doing the "right thing."

DO NOT tell him you are only interested in a "Friendship" this is one of the most annoyingly ambigious terms that a woman can say to a man. If you are going to say "I just want to be friends with you" tell him why just friends... i.e.
"I would just like to be friends because... I don't find you sexually attractive and you wouldn't interest me" (This could be seen as ice queen, but at the end of the day it's not breaking his heart as much as him becoming near delusional trying to guess what you want and whats wrong with himself.)

"I would just like to be friends because... you're a nice guy, I like your company and I really don't want to complicate things any further than they are right now" (This again is pretty ambitious but us guys kind of think we have a chance in the future and there is something complicated thats obviously personal which you'll only open up if you are prepared to be more intimate.)

He's been extremely open on the internet trying to seek that one special person to make a difference in his life. (So much so that his life is near enough like a Big Brother special but not nearly as boring as watching paint dry...)

He's a deep sensative guy, that just wants someone of the opposite sex to give him the time of day and he would love for that person to be you. (And I do mean love) It's indepth, it's something stated which will be seen as fast but he will be happy to go at what ever speed you want to go at. (I think he is a little scared of growing old alone and not having someone in his life thats genuinely interested in sharing experiences with him. I'm pretty sure he'd treat the right lady like a queen if they give him the same respect, He's in dire need of nurturing.)

He might have come across as needy, all you have to do though to deal with that should you find it a quality in a person that you don't want is tell him when he steps out of line as I'm sure all he'd want to do is make himself happy by making you happy.

At least do me a favour, Take the guy up on a date, take you friends along and don't expect him to make a move on you. Go out, Dance, drink (a little) have some fun and see if you get on or not...

If not, it doesn't mean you can't still go out and have fun in the future... since this is the real objective!!!!

If you want to respond to this post, at the forums mentioned (as I hope darksidZz [his handle] has printed the whole post) just quote the REFERENCE codeword I've given him. This is to stop the miscreants [undeniably mischievous forums users] from logging under false aliases to harass him.

Anyone responding as you and not using that word will be ignored. We won't necessary expect you to write in response, but if you do you'll have the ability to be open far beyond the general hello's that occur (in Private messages on the forums). Just remember to use a "New" alias over other aliases you have on the internet, so if you feel that darksidZz is someone you don't want to hang with he doesn't become a problem with you net identity. (e.g. get a secondary email account just for him

Also note the forums members are notoriously a male majority and some of them are "Corn dogs"

Now go print this darksidZz, take it to your lady love and late fate deal you a blow or a chance. it's 50/50 either way, and I'm hoping that if she's available and doesn't see you as a preverbial elephant man, she might take you up on the offer of going out and be adventurous enough to interact with you online to get beyond any nervous paranoid dispositions that you might feel or show.
