When i was like 10 (im 15 now) i got a piano from my parents in christmas. As time went by ive been ignoring the piano 'till now where i discovered "music" :( My aunt already gave the piano away to my cousins not long ago.

How am i going to explain to them that i want a piano for my birthday? :(

Im really scared they'll get mad at me.

And rightfully so....

you'll just have to wait until you can buy your own piano, or rob a bank...

Buy one of those cheap electronic ones...it doesn't even nearly come close to the real thing but hey...you snooze you lose.

Screw the piano. Get a guitar. Then you get groupies.

^That's true, but a bass'll get you work.
And groupies if you're hot ;)

make up reason to go chill at your cousions house, then just play it while your there, and well learning how to play piano will help you with playing alot better on guitar and bass, and then if you played either of them, you would be awesome and get better groupies

Depending on your computer, you can get a blank MIDI keyboard super-cheap. Even an 88-key. I'm not sure of the price, but if your computer can handle the software, all you need is one of those and you can record an album. (Of course, "the software" includes the programming for the keyboard, a rhythm generator, .WAV recording capability (at least), and something to manipulate those .WAV files.

My brother masters bootlegs with various software products; GoldWave was one; CoolEdit another; I have no idea what he uses right now, though I'm waiting on a Peter Gabriel show. A friend of mine took his guitar, a microphone, a J-Station, and a Tascam mixing board and recorded his album on a Mac.

It can be done. It's a crying shame about the piano, I admit, but things do happen. Don't let people wonder why you didn't blossom when they expected you to. Do things your own way, in your own time. Whatever you do, you'll be happier that way.

I just bought my girlfriend another piano for her birthday.
(Not as in she will now have two. I got her one for christmas, and we happened to be in the music store the other day getting a guitar for her birthday present, and she just fell in SO madly love with a piano that was in there, I just had to buy it for her, so we are trading in her Christmas present towards it.)
Anyway, the point is, there were some pretty good deals on used pianos in there.
Some even for less than $1000, but decent ones starting at about $1500.
I have seen them for even less in the newspaper.
Sometimes even for free if you take them away.
If you can find a used on fo cheap or free, then piano movers generally charge less than $100 for cross town moves.

Do you have ANY money saved up?
Will they buy you a cheaper used one?
Have you looked for deals on used ones?
Do you have a job?
WORK for your piano if you really want one.
