This is stupid, but I'm really curious.

All of you australians, is the croc hunter popular over there?

I mean he has a friggin movie now! It's unbelievable.

ok thats all, just curious if he is popular in Australia. Anyone else in any other country can also tell me where he is or is not popular too.

My last college roomate was an Aussie. He said he has never heard of the him. He is not aware of his show exists in Australia. He is not doing too bad for a zoo keeper with an idiotic accent.

As far as I know Crocodile Hunter is not shown on Australian TV. He is just trying to make some money of foreigners who might have odd ideas about Australia.

Adam dons his silly black ninja outfit, and hides in the shadows, awaiting his opportunity...

"HAH!" Adam strikes, sword slicing cleanly through Crocodile Hunter!

Ninja Adam dissolves seemlessly back into the shadows, as Crocodile Hunter's stupid arse is fed to the crocs on the sciforums floor...

I think he's great fun to watch, so ENTHUSIASTIC! With those stary eyes, the funny accent and always the same clothes. And he really cares about the animals too. Although it doesn't look like that at a first peek, but when you have watched him for a while....I think I have revealed too much about my tv habits. :p

This guy is a nut. Who else wants to play with poisonous snakes. that strikes me as a hard way to make your money...

Well, you know...erhum. I just happen to know that he grew up at that zoo, he's father was also a croc fanatic. So he's used to handling poisonous animals since a kid.

Well I think there have been much more interesting 'nature explorers' on tv before. My point wasn't necessarily to defame mr croc hunter, I'm just curious about his world standing...but the fact that he has a movie makes me feel a little queezy.

To my defence I can say that I did not know that he had a movie out.

What's it called?

Oooooh, now you've opened up a real snake-pit! :D

You want to have a direct link to a conversation about Steve and his show? Then I first need to do some tranlations I'm afraid. I can garantee you though, that he is a "hot" subject in a Digital Cafe I visit nearly on a daily base and from which I always return very drunk and very stoned.

How pleasurable a Digital Cafe can be if you have to go without television...:p

Yes Banshee, but only if it includes drunken and stoned conversation from you too. :p

It is there, lots of drunken and stoned rambling, by Banshee and lots of others. My goodness, pages and pages. They even moved the Cafe several times, 'cause it was to crowdy in there. Now I have to travel a whole lot further down the digital road. Go figure...:p

Agreed. I for one enjoy watching him. I seem to recall him saying something at one time about how his main purpose in life is to help spread awareness of animals so that people are less ignorant about them and in the longrun the animals are more protected.

"Awww crikey!" :D

Well Incream, I don't know if you paid any attention to any of the trailors, but it was quiet obvious that it was a very stupid film, I def didn't need to see it to recognize that!:p

Steve & Terry Irwin are probably just about the nicest couple of people that I have ever known, to have a televison show.

The first half/dozen times that I watched the croc-hunter, I expected to see the little bastard mauled! But as time has went forward, I actually would hate to see something happen to Steve or the rest of his crew. I expect though, that sometime in the future, we'll hear of Steve slipping on a mud bank and being mauled, or being bitten by a highly venomous snake.

Irregardless of publicity & money, I think that the Croc-Hunter is actually quite beneficial. It's not to difficult to see that they really do care about the animals of this planet.

Yeah. Croc-Hunter, the motion Picture, might bite (suck), but Steve, Terry, & WES are always quite cool in my book!1!
