Hi Scott, I have to assume that you have arguments to back up your misanthropy. If so, why discard them because you know you happen to see things in a negative light? If you have depression perhaps you have a tendency to see your own views in a negative light. I mean, if your arguments are valid your depression is of no relevance to your views of humanity other than making you think they are not valid because they are coming from you. Are you alright, by the way? I didn't know you had depression.

This being said, I always maintain that my perspective of the world is skewed and inaccurate at best. As Socrates said, "The only thing I know, is that I know nothing." I'm misanthropic, but I also know that I have depression, and have a tendency to see things in a negative light. I try to keep this in mind at all times.
