I remember being fourteen all too well. There were seven murders at my high school during the couple of months I was there (we moved a lot) and I almost became number eight except that I packed my own weapons. It was a tough school, and the only students who didn't carry knives to school were victims. Of course, this was all before carrying guns to school became so prevalent, which is what gets me wondering if the anti-gun crowd really thinks they can alter the level of violence simply by removing guns from society.

At any rate, this subject doesn't really belong in this forum. Just getting sickeningly nostalgic.

yes, i ahvew always monitured the religious depate thread, and every once in a wile posted, since i ahve my own wild idea's about everything. and then there is the rumor about a gun shooting that is soposed to take place at school tomarrow, and the planets alignments will be interesting.. but i still wana to know if anyone could forward me the postings, perhaps daveW or someone??? please becasue i am interested in teh subject... and being 14 isnt that great, it basically like bieng thirteen i guess

I don't think just reading the individual posts would do much good. You've gotta read them in the context of the discussion that was taking place at the time, IMHO. (thats a newie I've learnt, check it out guys I'm becoming computer literate)

If you read it in context you can make a better judgement on the whole issue.
