Theres a new comet that may turn out quite promising, comet Neat (another one!) C2003 E1. It`s in the constellation Coma Berenices between the bright stars 15 gamma coma (mag 4.34) and 9 coma (mag 6.3) http://www.geocities.com/blobrana/features/c2003e1.htm
Unfortunatly this ones only for 8" scopes... but you never know , it may brighten up... There are a few others in the sky just now visable with a pair of 7x 50 binoculars : C2002 YI and C2002 V1....
