First, before making any statement about the 'power' of a given operating system you have to define the context. In what ways is it more powerful? What specific cases is it better at handling?

Secondly, as others have posted... Mac OS X does have a Unix backend. Its called Darwin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Darwin_%28operating_system%29) . Therefore your statement makes no sense, as well as shows a bit of naivety about Mac OS X.
