Irwin stated, "This daring and hostile conduct of the natives induced me to seize the opportunity to make them sensible to our superiority, by showing how severely we could retaliate their aggression." In actions that followed over the next few days, more Aborigines were killed and wounded it is alleged that a large number of Aborigines attacked the party's camp. At least one Koori and somewhere between eight and thirteen Europeans died in what became known as the Faithfull Massacre. Local reprisals lasted a number of years, resulting in the deaths of up to 100 Aborigines. The reason for the attack is unclear although some sources claim that the men took shots at local Aborigines and generally provoked them. Australia as of the 19th of May does not imprison the Aboriginal population into reservations which require permits to leave and enter . Nor does Australia deny Aborigines citizenship with which to procure passports . The Australian army does not hermetically seal Aboriginal reservations preventing life vitals such as food and medicine from entering as collective punishment for democratically voting a Government the Australian Government does not like . The Australian Police do not possess a policy of extra judicial murders to cull the political leadership of Aboriginals deemed a danger to the State . I can speak for myself ,Dr Lou and mountainhare who like me are born in Australia , I cant for James R as I was told he is a Canadian living in Australia , but we did not grow up in the Northern Hemisphere . Australia before 1950 was relatively free of Jewish people , unlike the Northern Hemisphere which had large Influential Jewish concentrations which this minority were visible and vocal , this situation in the North has coloured their outlook . In Australia we are free of this , unfortunately we are now being influenced from the outside namely foreigners such as Americans and English into accepting Israel , it wont work . White Australians have already destroyed the Aborigines' chance as a nation. Through foreign diseases, murder, and mass immigration (under the White Australia Policy) they've outnumbered them so that they're effectively disenfranchised in their own land, even under the guise of democracy. The Aborigines know that if they united and tried to drive the invaders into the sea using violent resistance like suicide bombs, the white Australian government would crush them. Better to take the few crumbs they are offered than be killed.
