Mine isn't but I haven't checked out the latest ones yet.
I've heard they have improved them a lot.

Do you have an aversion to MS products, or would a Windows Mobile based device interest you?

I've had two Qteks so far, first, a 9090 running Windows Mobile 2003, and a 9100 running Windows Mobile 5. Both have worked really well, without issue.

The 9100 is smaller and lighter, but only has a 200Mhz processor, whereas the 9090 had 400Mhz. Side slide out keyboard works really well on the 9100. Windows Mobile 5 allows for VPNs to be set up to access your corporate emails, or you can access POP and smtp servers on the Internet.

Mine cost me £50 with a new phone contract. I'd never go back to a non-pda phone now. It's just too useful having several GBs of SD card storage for films or .mp3s, a web browser, MSN, and office tools in my pocket. The only thing I would ditch this phone for is another with built in GPS.

i had an xphone with windows, and even when it was working it wouldnt do what i wanted. palmOS works great, and i have no desire to revert to windows.

The Xphone is a little small to get the best out of Windows Mobile. You need a PDA sized screen, anything less is going to be a pain the ass.

I'm not keen on the permanent keyboard on the Treo models. It makes it a bit small, cramming it under the screen, compare them side by side;

The Treo crams the screen and keyboard in, whereas the 9100 has a slide out keyboard, with basic phone controls on the front. The screen automatically rotates when you slide out the keyboard too, and then it's really easy to thumb type texts/emails while holding the device.

Each to their own though, you have to choose what works for you.
