... it then takes the names, writes them on a piece of paper and staples them to its competitors foreheads, then it kicks their asses again.

In other words, i like it. Granted its near useless for anything but newer files but MY GOD THE SPEED! It won't replace the others but if you require a recently (or not yet) released file there is nothing ive used even a tenth as fast.

I don't usually gush like this but Im in awe of the speed. The files ive used it for have averaged over 100 KiB/s and up to 300 KiB/s when downloading.

I assume it'll be shut down, napster style, pretty soon though. I notice the sites are dropping like flies lately, some re-open but it seems more are going than coming, does anyone know the scoop?

It's all about finding the stuff you want. Speed is just a plus, not a must. BTW, BitTorrent has been out for more than two years and it does get popular but I haven't seen it takeover anybody yet.

as i said, it WON'T replace the others ... but for new releases nothing else even, kind of, comes close.

I like the "tit for tat" way its set up too, if you want to download fast you MUST upload and the faster you upload the faster you download. You can't really take without giving, its a good p2p design.

It won't be shut down Buffys. The anime they offer is unlicensed and after that anime is licensed they don't condone the sharing of that material anymore. www.animesuki.com has collective links of all unlicensed anime but those are only links to other sites. Some of those sites have Licensed animes such as Inuyasha and Macross which are technically illeagel to download.
