The UN has condemned Gaddafi who has called for a jihad against switzerland:

Gaddafi said: "Any Muslim around the world who has dealings with Switzerland is an infidel [and is] against Islam, against Mohammed, against God, against the Quran."

"Let us fight against Switzerland, Zionism and foreign aggression," he said in a speech broadcast live on television.

"There is a big difference between terrorism and jihad which is a right to armed struggle."

Gaddafi also urged Muslims everywhere to boycott Swiss products and to bar Swiss aircraft and ships from the airports or sea ports of Muslim nations.

France also condemned the comments, saying "such statements are unacceptable".

"The differences between Libya and Switzerland should be resolved by negotiation and we support the European Union presidency's efforts in this direction," Bernard Valero, a French foreign ministry spokesman, said.

Gaddafi made the remarks at a ceremony to mark the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad in Libya's Benghazi square on Friday.

"It is against unbelieving and apostate Switzerland that jihad ought to be proclaimed by all means," he said, calling Switzerland an "infidel, obscene state which is destroying mosques".

His comments come nearly three months after Switzerland voted in a referendum to adopt a ban on the construction of minarets, the towers that are a signature part of mosques.

He's a tool! Its statements like this that make life difficult for muslims living in Europe.

Isn't it only holy men from the mosques who could call for jihad?

Weird, Gaddafi didn't seem to find the place so infidelic back when his son was allowed to party it up there at will. The call for economic and travel boycotts is perfectly fair (every country has the right to do it if they want), but the man allows his craziness and bloodlust to get in the way of what otherwise be a reasonable message. Maybe he should stick to designing cars.

Well he was pissed off with the Swiss back then because they arrested his son for beating his housekeeper. I agree that economic and travel boycotts are fair though I don't think it will make a dent on the Swiss.

Thing is, he didn't seem to only refer to a boycott - jihad, but also made hints on something more violent as the following statement confirms:
"There is a big difference between terrorism and jihad which is a right to armed struggle." On top of that he lied. Nobody is destroying anything in Switzerland.

He is being an apologist for terrorism, and obviously..I doubt that it takes much for a fanatic hard-liner to take him by his word, and blow himself up somewhere in Zuerich.

PS: I think that's a response to the visa block Switzerland has put up for a few Libyans. Other than that Lybia has been holding two innocent Swiss people in jail for more than a year now.

He is a nutcake. You should have seen security detail when he was in NY. Trump rents him some land to set up his tent freak show because NO ONE will let him stay in their hotel. "Mad Dog" is just a terrorist who most people despise.

A nutcake that holds an important position in his hands, and who..ironically does have followers. A nutcake that we need to take serious. Hallelujah.

Perhaps someone like the Mossad will take him seriously. Besides, their hit squad could use a little more training anyway.
