    Sarah and the Rebops

See her in her red dress, she's just tryin' to impress us,
And she's got the party fever, but she doesn't take much ground,
    She's just hagglin' around.
    She's just hagglin' around.
    (repeat last two lines)

When the party's over, see the monkey's on her shoulder,
If the monkey's getting grinner, keep the house all waitin' round.

    Keep them waiting around.
    They're just waiting around.

I'm wondering if tomorrow, I'll see her on the talk show,
An' the weather sure get steamy, for this time of year around.
    But they're hangin' with clowns.
    They're just hangin' with clowns.

Down the press room early, with the hustlers big and burly,
There's a million stories sellin', if the buyers can be found.
    Turn the conditioner down.
    And bring back the clowns.

A review of the lyrics leads to the following revision:

I'm wonderin' if tomorrow, I'll see her on a talk show,
I'm turnin' back the volume, so she doesn't make a sound.
I'm gonna turn it right down.
Oh yeah, I'm turnin' it down.

"Heist..." they told each other, "Heist, the old boys get the fodder",
Now they're all right, sittin' pretty, got their eyes up off the ground.
    They're just hangin' around.
Like a bunch of old clowns.
