Slow learner? How about having such dogmatic delusions that he can’t even begin to understand reality.

Slow learner? How about the chuckleheads who voted the guy in the first place?

When it comes to job creation, Odumba is stuck on stupid, he is still reporting as good news ...."we only lost 400,000 jobs this month"...

They didn't listen to what he said, didn't pay attention to the issues.

if I recall correctly, the more sober estimates of job loss were not looking for a significant rebound in the job market until around 2013.

Certainly one year after the crash is far too early to expect job growth.

And Obama is of course a rightwing/centrist politician, and never pretended to be anything else AFAIK.

The stimulus seems to have done exactly what Krugman and others predicted - eased the pain a bit, slowed the fall - and that has been good. More of the same seems reasonable, the best we can expect given the state of the federal government. But the entire structure of the economy was seriously damaged during the Reagan Era that just ended, and no sensible person expects an easy or comfortable time for a while.

WHAT!? Who taught you politics? Right Wing is Republicans/Conservatives/Liberatarians. Left Wing is Democrats/Liberals. Obama is a Democrat, and therefore Left Wing. Centrist? No way. He is hard Left Wing, what with his Healthcare plan and all.

Again, who taught you politics? The Reagan Era was the period of time in which our economy got a whole lot better. He got us back up on our feet.

Our economy never was a hundred percent after the crash. And that is the reason todays economy is so bad. I don't expect it to get better over night. But inflation is on a rise. The economy is bad and Obama's solution is to print more money, which is only making it worse.

And what do you mean you can't expect it to get better one year after the crash? That thing happened around the time of WW1 and we are still feeling the effects.

It takes 4 years or more for import/export balance to filter through the economy. During Reagan era the Goods trade balance was -$28 Billion in 1981 while by 1987 it grew to -$160 Billion. However, the situation improved a lot to -$76 Billion by 1991. By 1998, we were screwed again at -$165 Billion. And whatever happened since then, we have been going down hill with job loss every year till today.

How much Politics plays a part? Not much I think. Because the whole industrial complex is owned by people who own the Politicians and they do whatever they want.

who would you say is/was the most left wing president in US history? Who would you consider representative of the left wing in the US today?

You are wrong, job losses have gone from 700k per month to only 52k per month (last month). That is a pretty sizeable reduction in job losses. That is good news.

Two, you need to understand that an economy the size of the US does not turn on a dime. It is like a very large ship, it takes time to stop. It takes time to slow. It takes time to reverse.

Leading economic indicators have been rising for 6 months. That is a very good sign. By the way, employment numbers are lagging indicators. Employment upticks occur later in the recovery cycle.

I blame the high schools. Even the major media acting in concert cannot accomplish that without a prepared audience.

Aren't you the guy who doesn't vote at all, and plays no part in the political process?

Commoners shouldn't be playing a part in the political process anyway. Let's leave that to educated, highly qualified people.

Or in other words there arent that many more jobs left to destroy.
And that is the precise reason why I dont vote, the real parallel goverment the Financier Industrialist corporate complex makes sure knuckle heads like Odumba and Mc Cain are Americans choice at elections.

Actually, things in my neck of the woods are not that bad. That is because, Louisiana has been running at 66% of per Capita GDP of USA for a long time. Now that the rest of the USA is going to catch up to Louisiana, they will survive. No more two cars, Excursion Vans, Multiple Plazma TVs, Friday night outs (fu*k your cousins then), no more Opera, Off Broadway, Nordstrom (Louisiana does not have one), no healthcare and so on.

If you are living in a Metropolis...learn to live with 60% of the income. For the next 5 years, USA will still be the numero uno economy.

And quite possibly much longer than that. China is now facing it's own buildup toward a real estate crisis. It's only a matter of time before they, too, have to pay the piper. Their stock market has also become very shaky internally.

In other words, it's very likely to be their turn to meltdown very soon. And that will set them WAY back on their heels.

I've heard this before, but, as I understand it, the Communist Leaders are taking an active role to slow down/deflate the Shanghai property bubble. They say they are building affordable housing for poorer Chinese working class.
