Totally random thing here, but I'm moderately obsessed with Spanish Turrón. I tried it (well, it's sort of impossible to avoid during the holidays) in Spain and have been hooked ever since. I recently received a box-load as a Christmas gift. I stun (and sometimes gross-out) the people with whom I share it. Anybody else ever have the pleasure of eating this manna from heaven? Oh Lord, I haven't seen that in ages. My Mom made it with peanuts. That stuff was hard as a rock. Break off a piece and chew and chew. It was awesome! But as I grew up, I quit liking peanuts so much. Now she makes divinity for me.
