We had a very rare snowfall on Christmas Eve, here in Dallas. Especially, since it was 70f/21.1c here 2 days ago. It was quite beautiful..only got 3 inches though. Kinda threw a wrench in our plans to go to Paris, Texas today...so we just decided to open gifts at Mom's house instead. I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas...Peace, love and antacids be with you in this season of giving! Merry Christmas!
Yep, Dallas is kind'a odd and strange with white all over the freakin' ground, ain't it? ....LOL! I can imagine that Santa did a double take when he saw it! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Baron Max
My brother lives in Wichita Falls and he claims there's snow everywhere. I live in Cleveland and we have rain and reasonable temperatures. ~String

You got three inches of snow and didn't drive!!! We got over 2 feet here in MN! I drove to my parents house last night in a blizzard! took me 45 minutes!
Yeah...but they are used to driving in the snow, and they have snowplows and salt the roads. Not here in Dallas. The roads weren't too bad here, but the bridges were all iced over, and Paris, to the east, got more snow than we did. We just thought it would be safer to stay home, especially with my 86 year old dad behind the wheel. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! It was 45 degrees and rained most of the day. At my Mom's in Nebraska its blizzard conditions (they can't even see the neighbour's house across the street) and they lost power for about 4 hours.
Interesting you should mention 45degrees Orly, we had that a week ago but it was in celsius. Today however it's almost white, 17degreesC, way too cold. Having a swim is a tradition on Christmas day but not this year BRRRRR!!!
