Broke my leg!

Went out for a cruise on a local 130 foot schooner and fell off the poop deck onto the mizzen deck, about a 18 inch drop. There were very little lighting on board her and it was pitch black out. Broke the Tibia will have a removable hard cast on for 6 to 8 weeks. No operation , thankfully. I was also knocked out for a few minutes as well. Oh well, that's life. :shrug:

Don't take NSAIDS for pain relief. They inhibit bone growth. I found this out the hard way.

I just watched Open water 2. Before you skinny dip, make sure there is a way to get back on the bo... I mean yacht...

 

You know I have lived here for many , many years and this is the first time I went out on the sunset cruise. It was a nice 2 hour voyage along with about 50 others until the fall, but we were on the way back in anyway so I at least didn't spoil the trip for the others.
