(your pic didn't show..i cut and pasted it and it said 1x1 pixel...also said it was a gif image..) the earth would catch a much needed breath..
Hmm weird. I can see it fine and it's a JPG.. Anyhow, here it is: http://enmos.eu/tempdir/boom.jpg I would agree if it wasn't for the 'sudden' aspect.
i know that i need my phone on holidays!! and if I remember right, we watched tv while putting together chys gifts last year! LOL!
NMS, without kidding, I think you make a good point here. I think the energy consumption around Christmas and New Year must be multiplied over many times.. People could really make an effort here and conserve some energy and, that way, do something for the environment and save money at the same time. I'm not saying that people should do away with all their Christmas lights, but maybe they could be a bit more modest. This is just stupid (imo) and, if I had a say in it, a thing of the past: Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! but you also have to note that not everyone goes all out and trys to make it day time in the middle of the night.
Well I got all the electronic stuff so i could ignore my family why would I want to turn it off.. JK yes it would be a good idea but the kids would be bored in about the first 6 seconds of darkness. And then the whining would start and then they would get mad I would get mad my wife would be mad because I was mad the neighbors would likely get mad for the same reason I got mad and then it would likely spill out into the streets and across the town and eventually across the country. The other countries in North America would have the same problem. They there would be war and famine all over the world and there would likely be a full out nuclear war. Why all because I turned off my electronics on Christmas day. Sorry i dont want to be a part of that I think I will continue as status quo..
LOL at GR WE play board/card games when the relatives come over for holidays. So shutting off the electronics are no big deal
Scattergories, Yahtzee, Trivial Pursuit, poker, gin rummy, and whatever the kids got for xmas. last year my daughter got Littlest Pet Shop Manopoly, so we played a lot of that.
Yeah! Teach 'em gambling early on and that way they have another career option. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Trivial Pursuit? OMG! Don't you/ they find it tediously dull?
