i had the same problem, i had been trying to buy one for a week to put on my st john's uniform because i was going to the remberance day service. they wernt sold ANYWHERE this year in SA, aparently they were all over the place in Vic but no where here. Luckly they were actually selling them at the service so i managed to get one but i bought a pin because the actual poppies where of a ridiculasly bad design which made pinning them almost impossable
there are a few things i will buy every year: pink ribbon (Breast Cancer) daffodil (Cancer) legacy pin (ANZAC day) poppy (Rembrance Day) also i try to donate for the fathers day apeal though they dont have a "thing" and i do try to buy a blue ribbon on police remberance day
