    One thing.

One thing has multiple meanings though.

To the mind - One thing is the one most important physical thing, that you want to do, and you do it. For some this can be a lifelong goal, but not if you have doubts. I took so long to realize, now my one important thing is just one thing at a time.

To the body - One thing is being at peace with yourself. After years of neglect I finally found this, although because of the neglect my body is in pretty rough shape. Ignorance is bliss, so I'm okay with my regrets.

To the spirit - One thing is being at one with the universe.

I'm sure there are a few other One things out their too, since I see multiple meanings in everything now!

I knew One was the answer, even when I thought I didn't know. That is why I searched so hard for unity of the world! Unity of the world is inevitable some day, but it is a change in our cycle, why I thought I could change the cycle, I don't know. I only saw the physical, and I had tunnel vision. Awareness will change the cycle, and I do want increased awareness on the Mind, Body, and Soul of 'One thing' - but I can't be worried about when things will happen - they happen when we make them happen, and I can't control that by myslef. So I need not worry about such things, One thing at a time, needed this post before I could go back to bed.

Being at one with the universe?
    Er, okay.
/ backs away slowly, not making eye contact...

    "Ignorance is bliss"?
    Not in a million years.

Edit: how is this General Science & Technology?
Philosophy or Religion or Free Thoughts I could understand, but Science & Technology?

The title of 'Meaning of Life' only reminds me the Monty Python movie.

From the way nature deals with sperm it wouldn't seem so.

Yesw, I recall a phrase in the film where they say that very thing, maybe the poster should be more aware that - 'what is typed in not what is read'

Being at one with the universe is my soul's interpretation of what One is - if you don't understand Spirituality, it doesn't matter, you will find that when the tim,e is right

Ignorance is Bliss, it just took me awhile to see it in myself. I only recognized it elsewhere and needed to crash before I could see my own ignorance. I'm now back on the rise, and others perceptions of me no longer bother me.

Many different paths lead to One - Science already has singularity, but for some scientific minds that is not enough yet, but eventually their anwsers will still be One

. Science and Spirituality are two sides to the same thing, and that's why I posted in General Science. One's search for truth using physical evidence does not mean they can't also search for truth through spirituality. Balance is important, and many already know allm this as common sence, but it took me a long time to see it.

I think Hawkins recalled his concept of a singularity as not compatible with quantum physics.

    True meaning if life

I really think Joss Whedon (he probably stole it from someone else) succinctly said it: "If nothing that you do matters, the only thing that matters is what you do."
The statemant is Tao in its simplicity.
