"Put a lime in the coconut" was cute.
Woodstock (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/32373841/ns/dateline_nbc-newsmakers/) was unique for a unique time. I like Jimi playing his guitar with his teeth (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b1rj4rjTQuw&feature=related).

I have given Lori7 her own personal theme song. Lori7 is in need of a hero (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBwS66EBUcY&feature=PlayList&p=E5886E80AA129929&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=37).
She says, she has found one but I doubt it. She is looking for a street wise Hercules.
I'm the invisible man to Lori7, she has me on ignore or I was.
I find that aspect fun.

Wooden Ships
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQAWqT_R5NI
by David Crosby, Stephen Stills, Paul Kantner
Stills: If you smile at me, I will understand
'Cause that is something everybody everywhere does
in the same language.
Crosby: I can see by your coat, my friend,
you're from the other side,
There's just one thing I got to know,
Can you tell me please, who won?
Stills: Say, can I have some of your purple berries?
Crosby: Yes, I've been eating them for six or seven weeks now,
haven't got sick once.
Stills: Probably keep us both alive.
Wooden ships on the water, very free and easy,
Easy, you know the way it's supposed to be,
Silver people on the shoreline, let us be,
Talkin' 'bout very free and easy...
Horror grips us as we watch you die,
All we can do is echo your anguished cries,
Stare as all human feelings die,
We are leaving - you don't need us.
Go, take your sister then, by the hand,
lead her away from this foreign land,
Far away, where we might laugh again,
We are leaving - you don't need us.
And it's a fair wind, blowin' warm,
Out of the south over my shoulder,
Guess I'll set a course and go...

Interestingly, Sean Bonniwell of the Music Machine became a born again Christian and now plays Christian "rock". He even has a song against Darwinism! Oh well, they rocked in the 60's.

for me it has got to be:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ncUdgvTe9s4
A lonely road, crossed another cold state line
Miles away from those I love purpose hard to find
While I recall all the words you spoke to me
Can't help but wish that I was there
Back where I'd love to be, oh yeah
Dear God the only thing I ask of you is
to hold her when I'm not around
when I'm much too far away
We all need that person who can be true to you
But I left her when I found her
And now I wish I'd stayed
'Cause I'm lonely and I'm tired
I'm missing you again oh no
Once again
There's nothing here for me on this barren road
There's no one here while the city sleeps
and all the shops are closed
Can't help but think of the times I've had with you
Pictures and some memories will have to help me through, oh yeah
Dear God the only thing I ask of you is
to hold her when I'm not around
when I'm much too far away
We all need that person who can be true to you
I left her when I found her
And now I wish I'd stayed
'Cause I'm lonely and I'm tired
I'm missing you again oh no
Once again
Some search, never finding a way
Before long, they waste away
I found you, something told me to stay
I gave in, to selfish ways
And how I miss someone to hold
when hope begins to fade...
A lonely road, crossed another cold state line
Miles away from those I love purpose hard to find
Dear God the only thing I ask of you is
to hold her when I'm not around
when I'm much too far away
We all need the person who can be true to you
I left her when I found her
And now I wish I'd stayed
'Cause I'm lonely and I'm tired
I'm missing you again oh no
Once again

Nights in White Satin (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9muzyOd4Lh8)
For years I thought this was Knights in White Satin
For a long time Five O‘Clock World (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kXKRwqBmC4A) was my favorite.
Cajun music festivals (http://www.nola.com/festivals/index.ssf/2009/08/mamou_cajun_music_festival_fea.html) are culturally distinctive. I met a Cajun while serving in the Navy. We were both mess cooking (galley) at the time. He was French at heart.
The Cajun music (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L2NIZexqb4U) in the film southern comfort is an accurate depiction of their enjoyable melodies.
