    ...Thanks.

Lost my saved file somehow, can only find 4 pages of it...didn't save any other sh*t...12 page paper, double spaced.

Marketing RFID chips(future concept)...some sh*t can be made up, doesn't have to be all real.

    Help...

    Thanks.

Actually I am against RFID chips, these things are taking way too much privacy out of our lives. Everything including tires by Mechelin, jeans from Wal-Mart, money...everything will be RFID tagged, and that means it will be numbered, catalogued, and tracked.

I don't think it'll all a terrible idea...what about for child molesters and such? And couldn't RFID in money be used to combat counterfeit money?

you don't find anything wrong with civilian agencies being able to locate you within 12 square feet anywhere on the globe?
what about 'em? people are supposed to pay for their crimes by going to jail/prison and/or paying a fine. habitual offenders present somewhat of a problem but there are other ways of keeping tabs on "perverts" other than RFID.
american currency (except the one dollar) employ at least 3 different ways to check for counterfeits using nothing more than a magnifying glass.
it's highly unlikely that all three would be breached.

correction: there are 4 ways to check for counterfeits, 5 if you include the pen test.

What about them? Once you have discovered them, put them before a jury, and convicted them, it's all a bit late for their victims.

If we fear they will re-offend, we can keep them in a psych ward indefinitely.

Sorry if it's already been said, but RFID chips can be range limited (as is the case with RFID payment cards in the UK, for obvious reasons).

Saying that, I think RFID in currency is a shite idea, since the chips can be easily damaged and this cannot be visually inspected (so you can't accept money from someone and know it's kosher without a reader handy).

I think RFID chips are utterly awesome and should see widespread deployment. Especially in shops - who need to drive down operating costs to compete with web based outlets. Can people track you? No - there are plenty of countermeasures (chip deactivation at point-of-sale, low range option, encrypted communication etc)
