I've seen in some articles, they say that consuming oil causes pimples, and in some it's been regarded as a disproved myth.
Well, what is the true answer?
And opps, sorry mods for putting it in the wrong section :D

As far as I am aware, it is a myth that consuming oil causes pimples. Pimples are due to blocked sweat glands. Injested oil, of course, does not go directly to the glands, but is broken down in the same way as other food.

Clogging occurs when the sebum, or oil, produced by the sebaceous gland cannot leave the pore as it normally would (to moisturize the skin and hair). An obstruction forms in the pore. The skin around the pore may swell and a white plug (made of dead cells and oil) may form - this is a whitehead. If the plug doesn’t fully close the pore, you can get a blackhead.
Pimples can become little infections when whiteheads rupture under the skin. This rupture allows bacteria, dead cells and oil to seep into the surrounding tissue. If the outbreak is large and deep enough, you may develop a boil-like infection called cystic acne - these are large, painful, red bumps that eventually may cause scarring. If you feel you may have cystic acne, go see a doctor or nurse practitioner as soon as possible. Prompt treatment will prevent scarring.

That's exactly what I thought too, that it would get digested. But I asked one of my biology lecturers, and he said that excess of oil gets deposited in the skin  I don't think so though.

Grownups have been telling kids all kinds of weird stories about the causes of acne since I was a teenager, and I guess they haven't stopped. Usually it's because they want to appeal to your vanity to get you to stop eating something they think is bad for you. Back in my day in the 1950s it was chocolate and cola!

They do have the cure for pimples, it's some weird ointment they don't sell you without a prescription (because they're greedY and want you visiting doctor all the time) and it basically cures it, you gotta keep using the stuff so they'll give you a really small tube that's not enough to really keep using till it runs out. Beleive me I treid in highschool and gave up

look your teacher is confusing things. Injested fats and oils have a tendancy to become atipose tissue because carb based fuel is used up first as its easier to use. This adipose tissue DOES reside just under the dermis, hence its called subcutianious fat. However this has NOTHING to do with the oil relaced from the glands in the skin.

The best way to deal with pimples.
Wash your face twice daily, before going to bed and when you get up in the morning, Dry off with a towel. Soap is optional.
The only times I got pimples were exams weeks, NOT because of stress, but because I keep forgetting to wash my face.

There is no one single solution to acne. The causes are oil on the skin and bacteria growing in the pores. Some people get breakouts from hormone imbalance, others from bacterial infections, others from stress.
In the USA we have a treatment called "Proactiv (http://www.proactiv.com/order/select.php?TS_uid=6WIEbn&siteid=PADcart&LSSITEID=eCwELo8gek4-ugJbY4H5s4.5PHE4oSc3dw&uci=ous101&)" that is one of the most reasonable solutions that treats most of the causes (but not all). In the end, it's about seeing a good dermatologist or enduring some good ol' trial and err to find a good treatment.

Odd..
Out of all the kids, I'm the only one without pimples.
A clogged pore allows bacteria to reek havoc on your skin.
The only thing that I am aware of that cases pimples in me is a high fat diet. In the early years of high school my face was covered with pimples... then I cleared up. Through college I was so stressed at times and broke all the time, I ate only carbs and the occasional protein and fat. Now that I am out, I eat a ton of fat.

I figured it was hormonal mostly. Its why pimples start breaking out during puberty. I'm 42 and I still get them right before my period.

Yea... all women I know are like that, heh.
For me personally, pimples are strongly correlated with aggressive behavior... which is almost always preceded by eating a ton of fat.
