And of course, there's the fraction of the population that would take it upon themselves to either Kill Andrew, or stand between Andrew and Carl - both of whom I consider Martyrs, because generally speaking tehy're either sacrificing their morals, or putting themselves in danger.

Whilst on occasion it genuinely is clear cut, the vast majority of the time it is not and there is always the potential to do more harm than good through hasty, insufficiently thought out action.
In general when there is no clarity the best option may in fact be to do nothing for fear of screwing things up even further.

I'm sure they do. I know what the Israeli problem is. Its that the Palestinians exist and won't disappear. They tried to make it illegal to teach about Palestine, to ban people from calling themselves Palestinians, they tried to pretend they were Arabs who came in from elsewhere, the tried to pretend it was empty land, they tried everything, but the bride they wanted was already married to another man. And in the end, it was their own blood that proved them false. And they hate the Palestinians for that. It okay, they'll pretend for a couple more generations that two states are possible and eventually, they'll have to accept that it won't. Never met a Palestinian I didn't like ;)

Idiot savants are usually very good at mundane tasks, like finding the square root of some arbitrarily large number or memorizing pages of the phone book. They have an incredible aptitude for processing lots of information, but are otherwise (typically) incapable of doing anything with that info.
I am pretty shitty at remembering anything, and when it comes to basic arithmetic, I typically need a calculator or Mathematica.
