this is a very good question. in fact its just like the one question i always ask everybody i meet. who has an easier life btw males and females? i hav gotten so many different opinions on this, but im still not sure what the truth is.
I do not think you will find a truth here. It is a matter of perception. A lot of the women will tell you the the boys got all the breaks while being raised. The guys will tell you they were usually held to the stricter standard. While being more free that they had more responcibilities. More expected. But remember that is perception.
Do men have it harder than women? I supoose it all depends on what 'it' is. Is it life in general, is it work or sex or what. Splitting the world into two halves (Male and female) I reckon things tend to balance themselves out fairly well. Men have a more perceived sexual freedom while women get the mutliple orgasm. The differences in gender are gradually narrowing, but then it depends on what part of the world you're in. Places like the midle east etc still hold women as second class citizens and in some cases as merely property. The whole world still has a long way to go as far as true equality is concerned but in the more developed countries I think it's getting better.
