    Hey , please.
    I have found
Sattelite and Air to be smth like them.
Know of any more daft punks out there?

I need to create a double cd album.

and how is their style exactly called?
    electro punk?
    acid electric?

(seems that there are not so much visitors to the culture and arts forum :sigh:, so I took this thread to free thoughts)

Try the Grapevine remix on that 'Friday' film soundtrack...very daft punky....

Chemical Brothers releasing some stuff along the same lines... forgot the album name though.

Well, I haven't listened to them - never heard of 'em and AG hasn't got anything available for download. Buuuut:

    Found Exact Match:
    daft punk

    Electronica, House, Disco House
Other listeners liked chemical brothers, fatboy slim, basement jaxx, jamiroquai

The only stuff I have that is remotely similar to Air is Zero7. Also you might want to check out Four Tet, especially the track "Parks".

I couldn't name anyone really, I would mention "The Orb/Orbital" but I don't think that all of their tracks would be Daft enough.

    (don't you just love Puns)

Although I'm wondering into the technophobes nightmare with Sven Vath.

You'd be suprised I have one track thats more metal than mediative.

Anyway I just thought of Aqualite, I remember having an Aqualite - Aquaplanet tape that you'd probably like.

I'd try looking up other french bands. Both Daft Punk and Air are french, and sound quite similar.
