Has anybody read about the most recent biotechnology advancements in the science world? I just recently read an article in Mental Floss Magazine about how scientists are altering the genetic make-up of plants and animals so that farmers can raise/grow whatever they want no matter where they live around the world. They think this might end world hunger... there are some health risks/benefits and some environmental effects, so of course it isn't being used everywhere... has anybody read about this?
i wonder who was sitting around and got that idea to mix those to critters. heh. wonder whats next..... quite an idea though!
