My favourite is Ellis. A name that I was nearly called, before being named after someone else in my family.

Geraint? Very esoteric, but unfortunately easy to rhyme with "taint" for my tastes. There are other Celtic/arthurian names I like more.

 

It doesn't rhyme with 'taint'. The Welsh diphthong 'ai' just sounds like a short 'a'; it rhymes with Grant.

Esoteric? I know three people with the name!

I don't like Jake - I once knew a right twat with that name.

I suppose that is applicable for a lot of my most hated though.

For example, I can't stand 'Nicola' as a girls' name.

I hate the name Junior.

Why the hell are some people actually named Junior?

 

I don't think many actually have the name "junior" as a first name..Just a nickname for those who share their father's name.

 

I know two people with the actual name Junior.
