Raised as a Hindu, I never got a chance to eat meat, but I got my parents to let me try meat at The Winking Lizard, not sure if you've heard of it. Anyways, what I ate was BBQ Chicken breasts. It was a bit dry, but that BBQ sauce was so damn good

You should have tried bacon, you would never go back!

On the other hand, you can always lick the BBQ sauce...

    why SAM?
the vegan diet is VERY hard to maintain and stay healthy (especially for women), there are lots of things which are hard to source from vegtables alone but are quite easy to get from a balanced diet which includes meat and LOTS of seafood

I probably will try some steak, and I guess bacon. People always bitch at me that I've NEVER tried it?? It gets annoying, plus I'm kind of wondering what it tastes like too. The chicken breast tasted just like the soy burgers I sometimes have, 'cept mine never come out dry

Never really believed it, was still forced to go to temples and shit. When I realized my parents would let me become atheist, I started considering it, and now I am.

    Try pork loin.
    Or beef dripping with blood.

take it easy though, it may hurt your stomach at first.

I stopped eating meat for 2 weeks and I was sick for a day after right after I started again.

i keep hearing this, but its been 13 years since i stopped eating meat and ive never had to take any mineral supplements or do any form of nutritional planning, i just eat what i feel like eating. i would consider myself to be completely healthy.

Venison is also king. If you try only a little meat, try venison (Bambi meat)

Welcome to the dark side. Chicken breast is kinda dry and tasteless. Try a grilled rib-eye medium rare. THAT is what being a carnavore is all about.

Beef is no good unless the blood oozes out of it.

Barbecued Pork ribs or short ribs or even baby back ribs are very succulent.
