An aardvark, it's the only thing living on its own.

I think by "whirlpool" it means "hot tub"

 

The pliers, all the rest are round or circular in shape

To say an aardvark is round is stretching it - pun intended.

I am not sure a whirlpool is round either. Seen in two dimensions from above, perhaps. But in three is is more of a funnel shape.
