The European Union on Friday threw its diplomatic weight behind the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), saying that it was gravely concerned by Iran's refusal to cooperate with IAEA inspectors of its nuclear program.

The EU "deplores" the fact that Iran has refused to suspend nuclear activities and shares the "grave concern" of IAEA chief Mohamed El Baradei that Iran "is not answering questions relating to possible activities linked to the design and building of nuclear weapons," a statement on behalf of the 27-member bloc said.

On Monday El Baradei reported that Iran is continuing to expand its uranium enrichment program while obfuscating UN efforts to verify the nature of the country's nuclear ambitions.

So the question is: "Why should US be world police?"?

Can't the EU and other nations in combination with US be the world's police? It would save US a lot of money and increase legitimacy of policing.

Me too :(

I think enough has happened by now that they must have a million ideas for a Team America II. I just don't know if they have the willpower to sit through another year and a half of filming with puppets :p

Because the leadership doesn't have the Balls to take the casualties, that would be necessary.

They always bitch about the U.S. being the Policeman of the World, but do they step up to the plate?

No.......They run their jaws, BAM, and let the U.S. take care of the problem and them BAM, because we didn't do it the right way.

Aww. I thought that there was going to be an actual movie. It's just a desperate attempt by spock to attract members to the post he made.

So, when whining about diplomacy, remind me why Iran started it's nuclear weapons program again ?..

I'm sure it has something to do with someone called Vanunu.

Because the leadership doesn't have the Balls to take the casualties,

perhaps that's because in the last few conflicts the greatest number of casualties inflicted upon european troops - particularly british and canadian - has been from american friendly fire - and not from the enemy.

Fuckin yanks - give em all guns for a couple of hundred years and they still can't shoot straight

Leave it up to Brit special forces to get the job done yet again I guess

ps- whe I say special forces I mean - average infantry - the equivalent of US SF

Huzzah! Though with that last few casualties this year, the Taliban/Al Quada finally beat out the Yanks for killing Canadian soldiers.

Fucking cowboy airforce.

Its come to something when the only good news for a soldier from a country allied to the US is that at long long last they finally have more chance of being killed by their enemies as opposed to their allies.

Seriously guys - you should invite the British back to take over the place again for you - you're clearly not old or mature enough to own a country yet

Why do we need a world police? And why does it have to be the states?

Shall I go back through your posts to show once again your hypocritical bullshit? Why should I or anyone else take you seriously? You're a complete idiot who has yet to use their brains for anything other than a cushion to sit on.
