Have you noticed the rising tide of Christian resentment against Oprah during the last year or so, while shes preached the testament of Eckhart Tolle?

Tolle's Power of Now books are wildly popular...and so is Oprah. So it stands to reason she would eventually get into trouble with her Christian viewers, who believe shes using subtle techniques to deny and subvert the ONE TRUE PATH to salvation and enlightenment.

Is she poisoning the minds of America's children with flaky new age nonsense...or preparing the way for a more sophisticated and realistic spirituality?

Personally, I would say she is preparing the way for a less confrontational view of God but of course when it treads on the toes of the beloved dogma..it's bound to get a violent reaction.:rolleyes:
