My Lucky day...Found $100 American Bucks!!

Well I just went up to the grocery store by our house about an hour or so ago.
It was pretty much dead, because it's raining out. I pulled into a parking spot, got out of the car and noticed something about 2 parking spots away. I walked over and found 2 X $50.00 American bills folded in half. They were pretty wet, but my friend used one to buy a bottle of wine.

WHOOOO HOOO!!! $100.00 dollars what find. I bought a few lotto 6/49 tickets for tonight too.

Anyway, I thank the Stupid American who lost it!

Has anyone ever stolen money?

I managed to steal £10 from a shop by getting the shopkeeper to give me £10 for no reason.

But it's definitely illegal. I didn't just get her to give me a tenner, I tricked her into it.

Hehe Reminds me of the time me and my friend found 40$ Canadian in a Honda store parking lot, how do people just lose money like that?

 

I don't know Shorty but I've heard that the pervert paparazzi will sometimes deliberately leave money on the ground hoping for an opportunity to snag a good bending over pic that may be worth something on the internet. By the way, do you have change for a C-note?

Reminds me of the time my friend found a packet of 70,000 rupees on the road in a brown paper bag. She put an ad in the paper, put up leaflets in the neighborhood [not specifying the contents of the package, of course] and waited for almost a year before she splurged it on a vacation. But she always felt bad for the person who had lost it.

 

Wow, that's like 1600 CAD, people are so careless, how do you lose 1600$?

 

Its waaaay more in Indian currency. We speculated everything from someone's daughters wedding to an old person's life savings. :bawl:

Wow, well what are you gonna do :shrug: you tried to find the rightful owner and no one claimed it so I guess that makes it yours to do with what you like, and I must admit 1622.54 (Exact conversion) Canadian dollars wouldn't do quite that much here in Canada as 70000 Rupees would do in India

 

Nice story Shorty.I have found a few hundred myself. i dont think i have lost any money either but then again i may have and not realized it.

 

Yeah, its just that it was in a brown paper bag, not the kind of thing someone well off would use to carry their cash. Of course, it may have been a drug or gang lord's stash which is why they never came forward to claim it [or so we like to tell ourselves].
