At 14 or any teenage year I don't think there's allot of stress that they have built up inside them. So I'd think that having sex early as a teenager is more for experimentation, fun and pleasure rather than for relieving stress.

Sex itself doesn't seem to be any more of a release than any other physical activity. Orgasm is, I believe, what allows the stress relief.

Jesus, most kids at 14 what with identity crises, splitting parents, sibling rivalry, peer group pressures, acne, homework, exams etc would have sex and most of that would be masturbation, for both fun and indeed as a stress relief. Yes, huuuuuge stress reliever. It's such a weird and funny feeling, sexual gratification. I wonder if there was no sex, a similar feeling would be fulfilled by other activities that are closely related to gene propagation, like eating. It seems like a totally distinct pleasure experience, like the difference between saltiness, sweetness and bitterness.
