Mafia: What really happened

I'll update this read every time I read another day, it's so hard to get through again. Right now, I'll leave you with something that's already been told, I wasn't mafia in the beginning, I got changed by skaught. Om always stood out as a mafia member, but when I investigated him for real he wasn't. What I found funny was that all the information/evidence people had against me was from back when I WASN'T a mafia member, so none of it made sense. This thread is basically for James and the players. I'm going to post all the PMs I had and what all of the secret messages Enmos and I had passed along.

It's entirely possible that SAM gave skaught the travel voucher based on PMs..

Good idea. It's kinda funny that in B&E there will be mafia game, but I suppose
it will increase the traffic of the subforum

About the OP, I think I have deleted most of the PMs mainly because of the inbox limit.

I will share a secret though. The day Asguard is arrested, I sent PM to all mafia
fellows, whether we should make a secret deal with Norsefire

actually when inzomnia suggested that i almost didnt do it because i didnt think norsefire would be stupid enough to actually DO it.

when he did it was a case of him being arested or killed because i thought at that point he HAD to be the serial killer. that was the only reason i could think of that would have justifided the risk of arest for freeing me

 

I just realized that everything I thought that was going to happen is what I typed because I was playing a tell-all game, so the only things you guys need to know is what happened after I became "Member." One of the potentially worst mistakes I made was voting to off phoenix when it was just me skaught and him because i suspected he was the knifer, but luckily skaught had more faith in him than me and voted to arrest challenger. That's why the night's deliberation took so long, btw, I think skaught was choosing who to pick.

I was sort of wondering why that night went so long. I kind of thought you voted to off me when I heard that only two of us voted and they were for different people.

I think I made a couple of mistakes myself in falling for that bit that made the Blue Moose look like serial killer, rather than going with 11parcal's thought of it being domesticated om.

And the second mistake was taking out domesticated om, rather than another town member and taking a gamble on dom taking out a villager or two.

It was so quick and so random, I though for sure something fishy was up with it. I made up for it at the end by calling you and BOH out as mafia at the end. Probably would have been a very quick game if SAM actually was mafia.

 

Actually, I'm almost 100% sure she was just randomly giving them out, and, because you happened to talk to her early on, she thought(wrongly) you were not mafia.

No. Like he said - the "Slasher" Domesticated, was singularly better (looking at his tactics - near pure luck) at picking mafia victims.

 

What actually gave me away? I know the slight change in the way I played the game was evident, but really, what specifically gave me away? By the way if you were wondering why I sometimes did things entirely out of character, it was to make the townspeople suspect me so that the mafia might think not to hit me and that I might be arrested anyways, in fact I actually told enmos to do this, but he refused(secret code language).

 

I actually read through the whole thread on the last night we were playing. I did NOT know that you had been "switched", but that makes perfect sense. You really did seem to change your focus from accusing generally people whom seemed suspicious(Asguard) to investigating innocents as the cop.

Basically I pinned it down near the end by you always investigating people I knew to be innocent. Even voting for someone(casino owner) that you personally investigated only a day before.
