    We can all take slipping away in our sleep as a given, but is there a perfect or even pleasurable way to die?

    If you could choose, how would you go?

    Me? Drug-fuelled sex heart-attack.

    Yeah, quick and over-and-done-with with is probably the most palletable way to go. But can dying ever be nice? Is it inextricably linked to pain?

    Best way to die....

    Chained to a wall, screaming, as someone pushed a pair of hooks through the flesh of my stomach on both sides. Slowly they would pull my entrails out as a curtain raised to the applause of thousands. Finally, once the intestines are out, they would be slowly coiled about my neck, and I would be strangled to death. At the end, the executioner would take a bow.

    but that is just me
