To all muslims. Even If I don't really count myself amongst you guys much, I still wish you the best for this Ramadan.

Are any of you the sneaky Muslims who cheat? Or drink alcohol?

We did this last year, but I think I would be a good idea to do again...If you let us "infidels"

know what the celebration is about, and how you celebrate it.

Like, when are y'all allowed to eat, and when are you supposed to fast, and other activities that are not allowed during the celebration...whether you plan to do any charity activities during the celebration and such...

People fear what they don't understand...so let's learn me some stuff.

I'm not an expert, but what I do know I'll share:

You eat one meal, including water and all, before sunrise, and then you do not eat, drink, expose yourself, or act/say/do anything unclean (swearing, flirting, killing, the usual suspects). Of course, you wouldn't normally go out of your way to that right, so It's not hard, until sunrise.

Breaking fast together with friends and family is encouraged, sometimes compulsory in some societies.
Sexual Intercourse with your spouse will break your fast.

To quote wiki, (As I've said, I'm not an expert here, just a casual observer).

    Moori:

a snack of puffed rice and savoury lentils, with some fresh herbs and onions, lathered with mustard oil.

You can get it anywhere in Bengal

It probably wouldn't be a bad thing if the States adopted Ramadan as an official Holiday.

Maybe we would have less of this :
