I'm not an expert, but what I do know I'll share: You eat one meal, including water and all, before sunrise, and then you do not eat, drink, expose yourself, or act/say/do anything unclean (swearing, flirting, killing, the usual suspects). Of course, you wouldn't normally go out of your way to that right, so It's not hard, until sunrise. Breaking fast together with friends and family is encouraged, sometimes compulsory in some societies. Sexual Intercourse with your spouse will break your fast.
