    Can i i get a web page to use an image in the page as a favicon?

    Suppose i wanted to designate a name, for exameple image1, to be use as favicon.

    I usually just put an icon image in the same directory with the web page and name the icon image favicon.ico The icon image has a special format; you can't just rename an image to get it.
